Products and Prices
Should an item be out of stock, an email or phone contact will be attempted by ourselves, if this contact is not successful a similar product of equal or greater value may be sent, rather than disappoint and miss the intended delivery date.
All prices quoted include postage, packaging, delivery (as described below) and VAT at the standard rate.
Orders
You will be given clear instructions on how to complete the details required on the order form. By clicking on the 'Pay' button on the order form, you are consenting to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and those appearing anywhere on the The Card Cottage website and authorises The Card Cottage to take payment for the item(s) ordered.
Full payment for all items purchased through this site is required before your order can be despatched. We accept all major credit and debit cards through our PayPal payment gateway. All checkout pages containing personal information are protected using 128-bit encryption technology. The Card Cottage reserve the right not to process an order if it is believed that the credit card transaction may have been made fraudulently. Under such circumstances the customer will be contacted to obtain further information.
An email will automatically be sent confirming that your order has been received and is being processed, please check this carefully. We will not consider ourselves bound by a contract with you until we send you an acceptance e-mail.
Orders cannot be accepted from customers under the age of 18 years.
Complaints
At The Card Cottage we are fully committed to providing you with the best possible gift delivery service. The Card Cottage will investigate your complaint and endeavour to respond within five working days at non-seasonal times. (Christmas, Valentines Day and Mothers Day may take longer). We will keep you informed throughout the complete process and if we are satisfied that your complaint is genuine a replacement or refund will be given. This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and retain the item concerned. Complaints on quality cannot be investigated if made later than 7 days following date of delivery.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will The Card Cottage be liable for any damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or profits, whether in action of contract, negligence or other tortuous action, arising out of or in connection with the use of this site.
Disclaimer
The Card Cottage does not warrant that the functions contained in the website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the materials. This site and the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons regarding or relating to The Card Cottage and its products and services (or to third party products and services), is provided "as is" and on an "is available" basis without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.
General
The Card Cottage reserves the right to supplement and amend these Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to review the Terms and Conditions when using the website. They shall be governed by English law and the parties hereby agree to submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
