The Card Cottage and who we are

We are an independent shop situated in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside at Ashby De La Zouch. The business is owned and run by Glen Everton and Geraldine Smith, with the help of our very loyal staff.

We have at present six members of staff with a total of 48 years in the balloon and retail trade. We took over the present shop in Ashby in July 2005 and in that time we have totally transformed the inside of the premises.

We have carried out extensive research and have adjusted our lines of balloons, giftware and weddings stationery to suit the needs of today's customers. We are proud to carry an extensive collection from the Tatty Teddy Range. Carrying many new lines of greetings cards and giftware in the downstairs section of the shop, with everything to cater for Weddings and Partyware upstairs.

Also we have carried out training of our staff to ensure that you receive the shopping experience and advice that cannot be rivalled.
